Through the Years...

As time begins to slink away from us, we tend to forget the little things that we held dear as we were growing up.  A little thing like game consoles.  Their progression at many times seemed to equal our own as people, through aspects of right and wrong, all the way to situations with multiple solutions.  Ways in which we started with few things or friends, to an expansive amount today, an amount we may not even known was possible...but without it, and ourselves we could have never experienced any of it.  The anger, sadness, happiness, pure bliss...what would we be without it, it's the experiences that make us who we are as people, and leads us into the lives that we lead.

Analysis of Video

Working with popular culture allows our minds to expand and use different ideas we may not have thought of ourselves.  And relating it with events that are happening now makes it all the more interesting to the readers who have decided to read it.   Every little bit of writing that we do helps us more and more everyday, and maybe one day it'll make us into even better people too.  In response to the Multimodial project, I believe that I learned quite a bit when it came to composing, thinking through ideas and all together how to attempt to put a video together.  It's a lot more strenuous work than people think that it is, it's a very beautiful art form.  I feel like in the beginning the project seemed resistant because I didn't have a clear cut idea decided on, but once I was able to plan out after my idea formed, everything slowly became a rolling ball.  But I think the more we were able to work with the the better that it becomes more engaging we can make it.  Depending on what we choose as a text and how we feel is the right way to present it depending on our terms of interpretation.  Overall though this project was a whole bunch of fun, and I think making a class like this would get a lot of hype and interested students.

The aspect of a Family

They often will tell you that a family is something that you're born into.  Something that molds you from the time that you are born.  My molders were not always the ones I could look up to...but recently I've discovered a new kind of family.  One in which will never leave, can protect me and see the good in me even when I cannot.  Even though we know that we are not blood, we know that our love for eachother runs thicker than it.

Carnival ride of a life time...

Through life there are many twists and turns.  Unstoppable times in which you spin so much you feel as if you are going to be sick everywhere.  But luckily there are times in which you meet certain people, whom just happen to hop in the cart with you, or you meet them by accident.  And you begin a new kind of ride, or just maybe you're lucky enough to get a small ferris wheel ride with them, until chaos starts again.
